Who Will Win the 2024 Super Bowl?
Based on the current state of the teams heading into the 2023-24 NFL Playoffs, the San Francisco 49ers are considered the best team in the NFL ( American Football ) and the favorite to win the championship game.
The 49ers are the No. 1 seed in the NFC and won't play in the Wild Card Round. Instead, they'll host the lowest remaining seed after the Wild Card round.
Suppose the odds hold for the betting favorites in this playoff picture. In that case, that'll be the Eagles they defeated earlier in the season, 42-19, with quarterback Brock Purdy passing for 314 yards and four touchdowns.
From there, the Cowboys and Lions would remain. The 49ers defeated the Cowboys earlier this season, too, 42-10.
The 49ers average 28.9 points, 140.5 rushing yards, and 257.9 passing yards per game. These stats are all within the top four in the NFL.
On the AFC side, the Ravens are arguably the No. 1 team in the league, having defeated the 49ers in the regular season and topped the high-flying Miami Dolphins offense 56-19. Quarterback Lamar Jackson is considered the favorite for the MVP award and they also hold the best record in all of the NFL with 13 wins and four losses.
Super Bowl Betting Tips
Number 1 Seeds Win More Than Half of the Time
Since 29175, 26 of 48 No. 1 seeds have won the Super Bowl. Last year, the Chiefs won the Super Bowl as the No. 1 seed and their opponent, the Eagles, was also a No. 1 seed. The two top teams in terms of odds are the 49ers and Ravens, who are both No. 1 seeds.
Monitor Recent Trends
While 14 teams make the playoffs, teams get there in various ways. For example, the Eagles made the playoffs this season. Still, they've won just one game since November 26, losing five of their last six remaining in playoff contention, but not viewed as a top team. Conversely, the Bills and Josh Allen have won five straight regular season games.
Monitor Weather
Leading up to the Super Bowl, many teams are playing in states with bad weather. This could severely alter games in point spread or moneyline betting.
Manage Bankroll
The NFL postseason consists of 13 games, so keeping tabs on your bankroll leading up to the Super Bowl is key. You can implement methods such as wagering between 1% to 10% of your bankroll per wager.
Watch for Bonuses and Promotions
Bonuses and promotions can enhance the betting experience on the NFL and Super Bowl. This is a popular time of year to wager, so you can expect these to become available, which could result in you winning even more money.
